How do you feel when you do something special or important?

When I do something that I want to but I never do, I am excited and very happy when I can do that. For example, when I was 12, I learned how to use a bow for the first in my life. In the first time I worried that I coudn’t used it and when I shot the first arrow it felt good because l cound use the bow the first time and I cound do that. It made me happy.
But when I am doing some exam to pass the level I am nervous because I worry if I can pass the exam or not, if I can’t what I should I do? Sometimes when I can pass the exam I feel like my brain is a sky, not a thing in my brain anymore and it is like l stand on the high mountain. But sometimes I can’t pass the exam it makes me feel like my body is a rock and I have the rock in my brain because if I can’t pass the exam to pass the level (big exam) the school will take me to this level again or I will do the exam again. So I will prepare myself for the next exam to pass the level, besides, my mom and dad will scold me.
Sometimes when I do something important, for example present something, and many people are looking at me I will worry that if I speak the wrong word or sentence the people will laugh at me. So I can’t control myself. Sometimes I think some word or sentence but when I speak, I speak another sentence that I did not want to speak or want to speak it in the next time not this time, and my body will shake.

I agree with you that when we can do something successfully, we’ll feel very happy and excited. In contrast, when we can’t do something we’ll feel bad and sometimes we’ll lose hope. You said you will prepare for the next test so you will pass and your parents won’t scold you. I think it’s good that you decide to prepare for the test, but you shouldn’t worry too much about will your parents scold you or not, because it will make you feel stress and not relax. If you can’t relax, I think you can’t study well. So don’t be too serious.

HI Poon. This is Jane.
I agree with you. I also feel the same as you when I do that test and if I do it badly I will keep thinking about it which is not good. I like the way you compare those feelings with the rock and High Mountain. But after I feel that I had a rock in my head, I try to avoid it by read and study harder when I got a test next time in every subject, not the only one you fail.
I also get nervous when I had to do something that I did not prepare before in front of people especially the people who I did not know. But I try my best to do it.
